Peanut Butter Cookies

These Peanut Butter Cookies are amazing, and couldn’t be any easier to make! This recipe uses the ‘all in one’ method, which means all of the mixture you put in together and mix well and then place onto the baking tray and bake! as simple as that! Also because this is the ‘all in one’ method you have less washing up.. win/win! :) This recipe makes roughly 9 cookies.

* 7 oz Plain Flour
* 3 oz Caster Sugar
* 3 oz Margarine
* 7oz Peanut Butter
* 1 oz Mixed Nuts
* 1 Egg


* Scales
* Wooden Spoon
* Bowl
* Folk
* Table Spoon
* Grease Proof Paper
* Cooling Rack

Grease Proof paper on baking tray
 Line a baking tray with grease proof paper. I put the tray on to the paper and cut the paper following the shape of the tray with a pair of scissors, I then neatened the corners and wiped some margarine on to the tray to make the paper stick.

Pre-heat your oven to 180oc/ 350oF or Gas Mark 4.

Mix together
Put the Flour, Sugar, Egg, Mixed Nuts, Margarine and Peanut butter into the large bowl and stir together well with a wooden spoon until it makes a dough.
Ready For Oven

Take two table spoons of dough and shape into a ball with lightly floured hands and place on the tray you prepared earlier. Repeat until you have used up all of the dough. My dough made 9 cookies, but the size and thickness will change the amount of cookies you make. When they are ready to go into the oven press a folk onto each cookie to make a slight indent, this is optional but makes a great finish once they’re cooked.

Put them into the oven and the size/thickness of your cookies, my cookies took between 15-20minutes, but cooking time will differ depending on the oven. Just keep an eye on them and check them roughly half way though.

Just out of oven

When they are looking golden take them out of the oven.

Cool on rack
Carefully remove each cookie and transfer to the cooling rack and leave to cool fully.
